The Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach will celebrate 50 Years at Full Speed next April 11-13 with a new logo and look for its 50th anniversary, which will feature a number of commemorative events in the weeks leading up to race weekend.
The logo, developed by Acura and the Grand Prix Association of Long Beach, evokes a 1970s feel with a stylized “50” that resembles both a racetrack and a “retro” racing logo of the era. In addition, the “50” includes a checkered flag positioned in the lower right portion of the zero and the primary version of the logo will appear in “Long Beach Blue,” featured on multiple limited editions of Acura vehicles dating back to the first-generation NSX.
The logo is the first of many announcements that will be made by Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach officials about special 50th anniversary activities in the coming months.
“This is a very special year in the history of the Grand Prix and the introduction of the new logo is just the first of many special activities highlighting what has taken place over the past 50 years here in Long Beach,” said Grand Prix Association of Long Beach President & CEO Jim Michaelian. “Soon we will be announcing a unique racing event, special exhibits, and other participatory events for everyone to enjoy.”
The 50th Anniversary Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach will be headlined by the third round of the 2025 NTT INDYCAR SERIES, as well as the third round of the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
Further announcements about support races are forthcoming.
