TICKETing FAQ
DIRECTIONS/ALTERNATIVE TRANSPORTATION
Why am I being charged for accessible (handicap) parking when I haven’t been in the past?
+

We understand that this is a change from previous years. Beginning with the 2027 Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, a fee will apply to accessible parking spaces. While we have been able to offer accessible parking at no additional charge in the past, increased costs associated with securing and operating these parking areas have made it necessary to introduce a parking fee.

We remain committed to providing convenient and accessible parking options for our guests and appreciate your understanding as we work to provide the best possible event experience.

Are there elevators at the event? ADA access at event?
+

There are elevators located near the Red ticket entry at the Pike’s “roller coaster” bridge at either end, as well as near the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. There is another elevator at the south end of the Promenade, which gives access to the grandstands on the south side of Shoreline Drive. There is also an elevator in the Terrace parking garage, which gives access to the racetrack’s Infield areas including the AAA Travel Lifestyle Expo, most paddocks, the concert stage, hospitality suites and Grandstands 16 and 18.

There are two foot crossings located at the Firestone bridge between Turns 9 and 10, which gives access from the Infield to the IMSA paddock (Fri-Sat) and Mornings CARnival area (Sun). The second is located at Linden Ave. and Shoreline Dr., which gives access from the Infield to the grandstands on the south side of Shoreline Drive.

There is a third crossing at Turn 6 on the racetrack, but it is only accessible by ADA golf cart: in front of Grandstand 7, those needing assistance can board an ADA accessible golf cart and be taken across the track near the entrance to the Hyatt hotel. That cart goes back and forth in that area.

There is also an ADA map available on the gplb.com website.

What is your refund policy?
+

All ticket sales are final, and refunds are not offered once tickets have been purchased.

If you’re concerned that an unexpected situation may prevent you from attending, Ticket Order Protection is available as an optional add-on at checkout. Ticket Order Protection, providedby Tixr’s partner Teak, may provide a refund for covered circumstances such as illness or injury, severe weather, job loss, jury duty and other qualifying situations.

Any Ticket Order Protection claims are submitted directly to Teak and are subject to Teak’s Terms & Conditions.

How does the Ticket Order Protection work?
+

Ticket Order Protection is an optional add-on available during checkout that helps protect your ticket purchase if an unforeseen circumstance prevents you from attending the event. Coverage is provided and administered by Tixr’s partner, Teak. Covered circumstances may include illness or injury, severe weather, job loss, jury duty and other qualifying situations.

If you purchase Order Protection and need to request a refund for a covered reason, you will submit your request directly to Teak. Teak will review the request based on its Terms & Conditions and, if approved, will provide instructions for receiving your refund. Approved refunds include the ticket price, taxes and fees, less the cost of the Order Protection itself.

Order Protection applies to the entire order when purchased, but refund requests can be made for individual tickets. For example, if you purchase four tickets and only one person is unable to attend for a covered reason, that person can request a refund for their ticket without affecting the other three tickets.

All Order Protection claims, approvals and payments are handled directly by Teak rather than the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach or Tixr.

Do you have any payment plans available for my order?
+

The Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach does not currently offer payment plans for ticket orders, though your bank or credit card may offer a plan to break up payments for large purchases.

How can I upgrade the seats that I renewed?
+

Call the Ticket Office at (888) 827-7333 if you find seats that you prefer and we will back out your original order and replace with new seats. If there is a difference in price, you will have to pay it before the order is locked in.

Why am I paying $10 in fees for each admission ticket?
+

The $10 processing fee helps cover the credit card processing costs associated with your purchase. We work to keep additional fees as low as possible, and this fee helps offset the charges we incur when accepting and securely processing credit card payments.

I would like printed tickets instead of print-at-home. When will I receive my printed tickets?
+

All tickets are electronic tickets with the option to print-at-home.  These are immediately available after you purchase them.  If you have any problems printing at home – or with anything else related to your tickets – there is a support email at the bottom of the ticket or you can call us at (888) 827-7333.

Your electronic tickets will also be available to use on your smartphone via the TIXR app or downloading it to your digital wallet.

If you would like hard-stock printed tickets instead of print-at-home tickets, call us at (888) 827-7333. These are usually processed and mailed out 4-6 weeks before the event.

Parking in the Pike, Terrace, and Marina parking lots are pre-printed and must be mailed even if you have received print-at-home admission tickets. Likewise, Overpasses and Super Photo Tickets are pre-printed and mailed rather than electronic.
