Mancinelli Races to Pirelli World Challenge Win!
Daniel Mancinelli steered his Ferrari 488 GT3 to a Pro Class and overall victory in Sunday’s 50-minute Pirelli World Challenge Race at the 44th Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.
Mancinelli finished 2.17 seconds ahead of Toni Vilander in a similar Ferrari, with Alvaro Parente finishing third, 16.45 seconds behind Mancinelli driving a Bentley Continental GT3.
Top GTA-Class finisher (7th overall) was Yuki Harata and his Lamborghini Hurracan GT3, just edging the Ferrari 488 GT3 of Martin Fuentes. Rodrigo Baptista in a Bentley Continental GT3 was third in the GTA Class.
Paul Holton captured GT4-Class honors (finishing 15th overall) in a McLaren 570S GT4, followed by Harry Gottsacker (SIN R1) and Spencer Pumpelly (Porsche Cayman).
The Pirelli World Challenge now heads to Virginia International Raceway April 27-29 for its fourth race of the 2018 season.
