Disney Junior’s ‘Mickey and the Roadster Racers’ Heading to Long Beach!

Participation in Special “Mickey and the Roadster Racers” Events at Long Beach Including A Disney Junior Kids’ Zone

Disney Junior’s newest hit series “Mickey and the Roadster Racers” are heading to IndyCar to deliver youth and family entertainment for the 2017 Verizon IndyCar Series season.  As part of the program, the collaboration will include at-track family activations in the Disney Junior Kids’ Zone at all INDYCAR racing events including the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.

Disney Junior will have special surprise appearances at key races, and unique digital content and social experiences for fans, bringing an entirely new level of family fun to the INDYCAR experience.

Mickey and the Roadster Racers Pit Stop, an interactive family experience, will be located in the Lifestyle Expo at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach and will be open on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Families can come by and enjoy several “stops” geared around Mickey and his racing pals.

  • A Hotdog Hills backdrop for the perfect family photo
  • Face painting and balloon artist

As part of the program, Andretti Autosport driver Ryan Hunter-Reay will lead the team’s participation as teammates Marco Andretti, Alexander Rossi and Takuma Sato help share the racing excitement with Mickey and his friends.

It offers one of the most diverse and challenging schedules in motorsports with races held on short ovals, superspeedways, permanent road courses and temporary street courses. The 2017 Verizon IndyCar Series season continues with the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach on April 9.
