Family Fun Zone Part of the Grand Prix Experience!

LONG BEACH, Calif. (Feb. 26, 2013) -- The April 19-21 Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach has just the ticket for families who might need a between-races break:  the Family Fun Zone in the free Lifestyle Expo.

The Family Fun Zone will be packed with enjoyable activities for kids of ALL ages, including exciting BMX and skateboarding demonstrations.

Kids 4-6 years of age can turn some “hot laps” in KidRacer electric-powered cars and try their hand at video games and simulators in the Family Fun Zone.

And, kids and adults alike can enjoy the new BubbleRollers – giant padded balls in which you can see who whirls and twirls the best on a special oval track setup!

There are plenty of locations for food, drink and great souvenirs from America’s #1 Street Race! And, it’s also right next door to the futuristic Green Power Prix-View, with great displays of alternative energy vehicles, water and energy conservation, “green” building, renewable energy sources and the latest in healthy lifestyle additions for inside and outside your home.

The Lifestyle Expo also features automotive displays, the Formula DRIFT cars participating in the Motegi Racing Super Drift Challenge and the Pirelli World Challenge paddock and garages, giving you a chance to meet the drivers and crews as they set up their powerful racing machinery.

The Family Fun Zone and Lifestyle Expo are open Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

The 2013 Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach will feature racing from the IZOD IndyCar Series, Toyota Pro/Celebrity Race, Tequila Patrón American Le Mans Series, Firestone Indy Lights, Pirelli World Challenge, Robby Gordon OFF-ROAD Stadium SUPER Trucks and the Motegi Racing Super Drift Challenge.
