INDYCARS HIT THE ROAD IN CALIFORNIA

admin | 19 August, 2008 09:25

Series points leader Scott Dixon leads the IndyCar parade into Northern California this weekend for the race that holds the early lead for "Longest Race Title of 2008" -- the Peak Antifreeze and Motor Oil Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma County.

Try to get all THAT on a small T-shirt!

Dixon's 558 points are 78 ahead of Helio Castroneves, with Dan Wheldon, Tony Kanaan and Ryan Briscoe rounding out the top five.

Dixon, Kanaan and Marco Andretti each have a race victory on the road course at Infineon Raceway. The race will be televised by ESPN2 at 5:30 p.m. E.T. this Sunday.
