EX-CHAMP CAR DRIVERS SET TO MOUNT FULL-TIME ASSAULT ON INDYCAR SERIES

Eight ex-Champ Car drivers embark on their new careers as IndyCar Series drivers this weekend in the RoadRunner Turbo Indy 300 at Kansas Speedway.
Four of them are currently in the IndyCar points top-10. Will Power, winner of the Champ Car finale last weekend at the 34th Annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, is fifth with 87. Enrique Bernoldi (74) is 7th, with Oriol Servia (74) 8th and Graham Rahal, winner of the IndyCar race at St. Petersburg, 9th with 70 points.
Helio Castroneves is the series points leader with 112, followed by Scott Dixon (100) and Danica Patrick (98).
Bruno Junqueira, Mario Moraes, E. J. Viso and Justin Wilson will also duel for the checkered flag on the 1.5-mile banked oval located in Kansas City.
The race will be televised at 2 p.m. PDT on ESPN2.
