Four-time Toyota Grand Pirx of Long Beach winner Paul Tracy is back for the Champ Car finale...and glad to be here.

"It feels good to be back in the car and qualifying," Tracy said. "Today didn't go so well (he was 8th-fastest) and it was basically mostly on me. I made a lot of mistakes and just couldn't put a good lap together.

"But today was pretty incredible. Yesterday was a really good crowd for a Thursday and today there were big crowds in the paddock and in the stands...really, it was just like back in the mid-90s! But, whether it's in anticipation of the new series or just the farewell of the hard-core fans that have been here, the fan support and well-wishes felt nice."

So where is Paul now? He's not racing in IRL or Lemans. Has he retired?
